Bourdon tube (sheath)
This spring-reinforced sheath features a three-layer composite structure: a PTFE inner layer, a stainless steel spring, and a PEBAX outer layer. It serves as a core access device for interventional procedures.
Core Functions: Provides a smooth delivery channel for guidewires, balloons, and other instruments, while protecting the vessel, maintaining lumen patency, and supporting intraoperative contrast agent/drug infusion.
Material Advantages: The inner PTFE layer enables low-friction delivery, the middle spring resists bending and torsion to ensure lumen patency, and the outer PEBAX layer provides flexibility and biocompatibility. The overall design adapts to complex vascular anatomy, enhancing surgical safety and maneuverability.
